A one-day Introductory course to beekeeping in Tasmania. Learn about bees, their life cycle and behaviour, hive selection, natural beekeeping techniques, seasonal cycles in beekeeping, pests and diseases. The session includes working at the hive with the bees. The course provides the basis for successfully getting started in beekeeping.
